If you have played any Remedy Entertainment game in the past, there is a pretty strong chance you would be familiar with one of James McCaffrey’s roles in the Remedy Connected Universe. This would range from his role as the voice of Max Payne’s titular character, to the voice of Thomas Zane in Alan Wake, the former FBC Director Zachariah Trench in Control, and Alex Casey in Alan Wake II. Like Poets of the Fall and Matthew Porretta, if there was a Remedy Entertainment game, there is a solid chance he would be involved in some way.
Sadly unless some pre-recording has already been done for Control 2 or another project, it appears that impressive run will now be over. It has regrettably been confirmed this week that Mr McCaffrey passed away at the age of 65 following a battle with multiple myeloma.
