Following their release of ‘House of Ashes’ just a week ago, Bandai Namco Entertainment and publisher Supermassive Games has provided us with first details in the fourth and final chapter (at least of season one) within this standalone narrative-driven horror game franchise. This chapter, titled The Devil In Me, follows a group of documentary filmmakers as they receive a mysterious invite to a replica of the ‘Murder Castle’ of H.H. Holmes, America’s first serial killer.
While this is would seem like another shoot at first, they soon discover that they’re being watched, and that there is more at stake than just their viewing figures. The developer and publisher invites fans of “step into the anthology’s most bloodcurdling story yet, where each of your choices once again determines who lives and who dies”, and hope that you “Watch in horror as your unfortunate crew falls prey to a twisted host who is observing their every move”.
No release date has been confirmed as of writing, but based on previous chapters, expect it sometime in 2022.
