Roger Jr. is making his return to Tekken. Bandai Namco Entertainment has debuted a gameplay trailer for the character, first introduced in Tekken 5, at Evo France, confirming his arrival as the third playable character of Tekken 8 Season 3 this November.
Known as the “Pocket Commander”, Roger Jr. fights using the Commando Wrestling style, combining strong strikes with pro-wrestling throws. His story in Tekken 8 begins with a confrontation with his father, Roger, who has been unfaithful to his mother. Roger Jr. is then wrongly blamed for the destruction of a G Corporation building, and he and his mother set out to defeat those pursuing them and bring down the head of G Corporation, with Roger Jr. fighting his way through the manhunt.
The character arrives in two stages. Holders of Tekken 8 Season Pass 3 can access Roger Jr. from Thursday 12 November in North America, while he becomes available to all players on Tuesday 17 November 2026. He joins Bob, Kunimitsu and Yujiro Hanma, who is still to come, as the four characters of Season Pass 3.
Developed by Bandai Namco Studios, Tekken 8 is out now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam
