Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.58 Brings EXP Boost to Trust NPCs

-

Rolling out onto Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) servers as I type this, Square Enix is releasing Patch 5.58 on their North American, European and Japanese servers. This is a sub-patch that delivers no new pieces of significant content – and it appears that the rumoured first wave of cross data centre travel hasn’t eventuated – but does present several new more minor additions to the world of Eorzea.

For those curious, you can read the full official patch notes HERE, or scroll down for a look at a curated list of major inclusions.

Experience Points gained by Trust NPCs have been increased

Although there is no word on just how much this EXP boost is, hopefully it is enough to encourage players to get their Level 70 trust companions to Level 80 before Endwalker’s launch

Diamond Gwiber Trumpet drop rate increased

The mount loot from Cloud Deck (Extreme) will now drop more frequently. Furthermore, players can now obtain this item in exchange for 99 Diamond Totems by speaking with C’intana in Mor Dhona (X:22.7 Y:6.7).

Eden’s Promise (Savage) Receives Echo Boost

Scared about starting the savage raids for the first time? The Echo Boost in E9S – E12S has now been increased to 15%. This will increase players’ maximum HP, damage dealt, and healing potency by 15%.
