Xbox and PC Exclusive Fantasy Action-Adventure Death’s Door Unveiled

-

Acid Nerve and Devolver Digital used this weekend’s ID@Xbox Twitch Gaming Showcase to unveil Death’s Door, a new offbeat fantasy-action adventure game currently in development for the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Windows PC.

Due to arrive on digital storefronts later this year, Death’s Door sets out to thrust players into a quirky and curious world where Crows are in charge of collecting the souls of the dead. Reaping souls and punching a clock might get monotonous but it’s honest work for a Crow. So what have the developers implemented to make this not so grindy? Well, when your assigned soul is stolen, you must track down the desperate thief to a realm untouched by death – where creatures grow far past their expiry and overflow with greed and power.

Venturing forth from the Hall of Doors, explore a land full of twisted inhabitants and countless secrets, bringing hope to the weird and wonderful characters you’ll meet along the way. Wield and upgrade melee weapons, arrows and magic as you track down and defeat colossal tyrants with stories and motivations of their own.

More information will undoubtedly be shared about Death’s Door in advance of its launch. Until then, however, scroll down for a further sneak peek at the game!
