Developed by Nippon Ichi Software and published internationally by Nippon Ichi Software America, Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny is due to release sometime in 2021. While releasing on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan, NIS America have opted to make it exclusive to the latter internationally – a major shift in platforms.
