Cyberpunk 2077, likely to be one of the most ambitious games of the departing generation of console gaming, has had a rocky start to say the least. With Sony Interactive Entertainment and Microsoft either removing the game from their respective digital storefronts or otherwise issuing a warning prior to purchase, this is clearly not what the development team would want going into the holiday season. While this may be a time for many to recuperate after a year of trials, CD Projekt RED are instead progressively working to bring about change.
Just in time for the Christmas period, the developers have pushed out a new hotfix for CyberPunk 2077. This introduces just three fixes – although two of these deliver rather substantial improvements to the game.
The full patch list for Hotfix 1.06 can be found below:
Quests
- Dum Dum will no longer go missing from Totentanz entrance during Second Conflict.
Console-specific
- Improved memory management and stability, resulting in fewer crashes.
PC-specific
- Removed the 8 MB save file size limit. Note: this won’t fix save files corrupted before the update.
