Mostly known for their development of the first two games in the LittleBigPlanet series, Media Molecule took their creative development platforms to the next level by this year releasing Dreams exclusively on the PlayStation 4. No longer confined to side-scrolling platformer levels, players are given the tools to create and play of many different genres. But what if you are not sure if this is the game for you?
Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed that a demo of Dreams is now available to download via the PlayStation Store. The demo won’t give players access to the wealth of player-created content available on its servers, instead offering a rotating playlist of what is described as “Media Molecule’s favourite creations”. Examples of those levels include The Ornithologist’s Private Collection, Ruckus, Cubric, Player Piano Player, Art Therapy and Great Job Human!.

The demo version will also give players access to the first 20 minutes of the musical narrative adventure “Art’s Dream”, created by the Media Molecule team to highlight what their creative engine is capable of.
Those who purchase the full game down the line, will be able to continue where they left off in the demo, also gaining access to the wealth of creative build tools allowing them to build levels such as those pictured in the demo.
