Developed by the six-person Seattle-based indie studio Pillow Castle over a period of six years, the first-person perspective-driven puzzle game Superliminal was released onto the PC last month. It has proven to be a popular game with online streamers – complemented by its surreal story, mind-boggling puzzles which requires out-of-the-box thinking and a level of quirkiness.
While currently available exclusively via the Epic Games store, it was today confirmed during Sony Computer Entertainment’s State of Play livestream that the game will be headed to the PlayStation 4 in April 2020.
You can read more about the game from the words of Lead Designer Albert Shih via the official PlayStation Blog.

About Superliminal
As you fall asleep with the TV on at 3AM, you remember catching a glimpse of the commercial from Dr.Pierce’s Somnasculpt dream therapy program. By the time you open your eyes, you’re already dreaming – beginning the first stages of this experimental program. Welcome to Superliminal.
Superliminal is a first-person puzzle game based on forced perspective and optical illusions. Puzzles in this game give you a sense of the unexpected. Players need to change their perspective and think outside the box to wake up from the dream.
