Persona 5 Royal to Offer Multiple-Language Support for First Time 1

The Persona media franchise from ATLUS has a substantial fan-base both inside and outside of Japan, and it is clear that the game’s western publisher ATLUS USA have taken more note of this than ever before. In an announcement from the publisher’s Brand Director Jon Bailey, it was confirmed that for the first time ever in the series’ history, Persona 5 Royal will be available fully subtitled in French, Italian, German and Spanish in addition to English.

We are excited to bring even more localizations of Persona 5 Royal to market – extending the game experience out to all our French, Italian, German and Spanish speaking fans all over the world.

This announcement follows a recent release date confirmation by ATLUS USA. Prepare to join the Phantom Thieves on an enhanced adventure stealing treasure from 31 March 2020.

Similar to Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden, Persona 5 Royal is not a brand new game but an enhanced remake of the original. In addition to a new story-arc which takes place following the original December deadline of the original – players can expect a number of new additions in Persona 5 Royal including a new character, the ability to customise your personal Phantom Thieves den, new cutscenes and alternate endings, new personas, new mini-games and more.
