The first two Danganronpa video games were first released on the PlayStation Portable in Japan as individual titles, before being brought over to the PlayStation Vita as essentially a two-in-one pack. When it came to bringing the game over to western markets, Nippon Ichi Software America chose to release each game on the PlayStation Vita as standalone games – not unsurprising given they had to localise each game for the first time. But a few years on, NIS America have confirmed they will finally be releasing the Danganronpa 1•2 Reload compilation… just only on a different platform.
Embracing home video game consoles, the publisher has confirmed that Danganronpa 1•2 Reload will be available on the PlayStation 4 from Early-2017. This pack will include both Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. I imagine this will be good practice for when Danganronpa 3: Minna no Koroshiai Shingakki is released on the PlayStation 4 – if it is being brought to western markets.
