In Time For Halloween, XSEED Games Release Corpse Party on the Nintendo 3DS

While the main Corpse Party trilogy on portable PlayStation consoles may have concluded for now, this has not prevented XSEED Games from continuing their work on the series. Following a localised PC release of  the gamemonths back, XSEED have been working on bringing a remastered version of the 2011 PlayStation Portable version of Corpse Party to the Nintendo 3DS. Appropriate given Halloween is almost upon us, it is time to return to Heavenly Host Elementary School yet again.

Corpse Party on the Nintendo 3DS is a remastered version of the game’s PlayStation Portable edition. It also comes with redrawn character sprites, new arranged music tracks in binaural 3D audio, 3D art stills and four Extra Chapters exclusive to the version.

Corpse Party is now available for purchase on the Nintendo 3DS, with both physical and digital editions on offer. Physical copies are available through a limited ‘Back to School Edition’ priced at $49.99 USD – which also includes two miniature figurines (Naomi Nakashima / Seiko Shinohara) and a soundtrack with approximately 80 minutes of music. Alternatively, there is the digital copy available via the Nintendo eShop in North America ($29.99 USD), Europe (€29.99/£24.99) and *gasp* Australia ($49.95 AUD).
