And so the Wait Continues… The Last Guardian Delayed Until Early-December 2016

After years of waiting, a console shift and rumours of its cancellation, we finally received a release date for The Last Guardian earlier this year. Unfortunately an announcement made by President of Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida, confirmed that the game has been delayed by “a few weeks”.

As stated on the official PlayStation Blog:

A delay is a difficult decision, particularly with this game, but we have encountered more bugs than anticipated while in the final stages of development. To ensure that The Last Guardian delivers on the experience that the game’s creators have envisioned, we need to take the extra time to work on those issues.

So when can we now dive into this successor to Ico and Shadow of the Colossus? Those in Europe will be able to nab themselves copies on December 7th 2016, while those in the United Kingdom & Ireland can begin their journey on December 9th 2016. Gamers in Australia and New Zealand will also be able to purchase this game on December 7th.

Like before, The Last Guardian remains a PlayStation 4 exclusive.
