New Mythic Dungeon to Be Included in World of Warcraft: Legion Patch 7.1, Companion App Announced

-

Over the weekend, Blizzard Entertainment were in attendance at PAX Prime. During this event, World of Warcraft developers Cory Stockton, Luis Barriga and Eric Maloof took to the stage for a special panel presentation. While probably not announcing all the contents, the trio announced some of what will be offered in WoW’s upcoming Patch 7.1 – also known as Return to Karazhan.

Staying true to the patch’s title, this update will provide players with a revamped Karazhan experience with a new 5-player Mythic dungeon. For those brave enough to venture its halls, they will be faced with 9 bosses – including familiar bosses and areas – albeit with some new twists and surprises. You can see a bit more of this dungeon below:

World of Warcraft is also set to receive a dedicated mobile companion app from tomorrow. Available on both iOS and Android, this app will give players the chance to manage their Order Hall missions, as well as view available world quests from a smartphone. You can see a little bit more about this app below:

Another new feature details was the ‘Class Trials Feature’ From the character-creation screen, you will be able to create and play a level-100 character which has a preset class specification. You can then put that character through their paces in a tutorial experience and quest to acquire an Artifact Weapon. If you like what you see, you can apply a Level-100 character boost and continue the adventure on the Broken Isle – or go through the process again with a different class.
