On October 25th 2016, gamers will once again be able to once again take on the role of a farmer with the launch of Farming Simulator 17 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
One major aspect of Giants Software’s series which has been enhanced in this latest instalment is the ability to tend animals. This time around you will not only be able to raise cows, sheep and chickens, but also pigs.

Players who properly tend to their animals will be able to bring in more income for their farms! Fresh straw for bedding and suitable food for each animal’s diet means more wool from sheep flocks and more milk produced by cow herds. Each animal requires a specially crafted diet, with a careful balance between different food types which you can grow yourself on your own farm. Many vehicles and tools, including many new pieces of equipment, are dedicated to the tending of animals – a selection of which you can see in the trailer.
Keep the pens tidy and clean, properly feed and water your animals, and offer them fresh bedding regularly. Doing this will cause your animals’ happiness to raise, maximizing their levels of reproduction. Keeping up with these needs means smart farmers can make a tidy profit by buying small groups of animals, then selling them in larger numbers after they multiply!
Developed by Giants Software, Farming Simulator 17 will be available from Five Star Games in Australia and New Zealand from October 25th 2016.
