While those already familiar with the expansive Touhou franchise may need no introduction to this character, Nippon Ichi Software America have continued their character trailer series for Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet by focusing on one of the series’ more iconic characters – Flandre.
Flandre is a vampire and magical girl, who has wings decorated with crystals of seven colours. Despite her youthful and adorable appearance, she is a devil who wields the vicious power of destruction. According to her in-game bio, Flandre is:
A girl who is fond of her elder sister, Remilia. Like her sister, she is a vampire, but also a magical girl. Usually she is confined in the basement of the mansion, but she herself isn’t so concerned about getting out. Lately, she is more interested in the humans and the outside world.
Flandre is one of the ten playable characters in CUBETYPE’s bullet hell game, with other characters featured including the Shine Maiden of Hakurei Shine “Reimu Hakurei”, Oriental Western Magician “Marisa Kirisame”, Maid of the Scarlet Devil Mansion “Sakuya Izayoi” and Deified Human of the Wind “Sanae Kochiya”.
Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet is the first Touhou video game brought to western video game markets by Nippon Ichi Software America. It will be available on store shelves in North America from September 6th 2016, and a few days later on September 9th 2016 in PAL regions.
