Uniting characters from the various worlds explored in the Final Fantasy franchise in a more traditional RPG experience, Square Enix have confirmed that World of Final Fantasy will launch on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita starting October 25 2016 in western markets.

This announcement comes as Square Enix share at least some of their E3 2016 assets a week early, including the newest English-language trailer above. This video provides a quick glimpse at the game, including the iconic Final Fantasy monsters and heroes players will undoubtedly encounter in their chibified forms. You can also view a sizable batch of new screenshots at the bottom of this post.

The good news for those in Australia is that you won’t have to wait long following the North American release to get your hands on World of Final Fantasy. Regional distributor Bandai Namco Entertainment Australia have confirmed that the RPG will be available Down Under as of October 27 2016 on both platforms.

About World of Final Fantasy

In World of Final Fantasy, players lead a pair of twins, Reynn and Lann, through the land of Grymoire on a search to rediscover their lost memories. Throughout their adventure, players will collect, raise and battle adorable beings of classic Final Fantasy lore, including cactuar, chocobo and behemoth, to create customizable, strategic tower combinations to take on the most challenging of opponents.
