When it comes to quite a few of their previous video game releases, ATLUS USA tends to offer something a little bit special to those who either pre-order or acquire a first-print copy of their games. These are usually things you won’t find in an expensive limited edition set, but includes items like a small artbook or soundtrack.

As announced a couple of weeks ago, ATLUS USA will be bringing Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse on the Nintendo 3DS to North American markets later this year. Their first print copies of this RPG will also come with something a little bit extra. They will be offering a metal emblem set, which comes with three metal pins, roughly .75″ in diameter each. Two of these pins will represent the Pwace and Anarchy paths the player can opt to follow. The final one represents Dagda’s mark, with Dagda being the god who resurrects the protagonist for his own bidding.

A few years ago, Shin Megami Tensei IV allowed players to look into the sacrifices and heroics made by the Samurai of the Eastern Kingdom of Mikado. But this is not the only story that ATLUS have to share in the universe. Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse shifts its attention to a nameable hunter cadet who unfortunately meets an untimely end as the game begins. But using the machinations of the god Dagda, he is resurrected under the god’s servitude. The protagonist then becomes a pawn in a much larger plot which skirts the boundaries of peace and anarchy.

No PAL region release has been announced at this date, but Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse will be available in North America over the coming month via digital and physical channels. The game will set you back around $49.99 USD or $64.99 Canadian Dollars.
