
While time will tell just how successful Overwatch is when the team-based shooter launches on May 24th, Blizzard Entertainment are clearly ecstatic about the number of people who turned out for the open beta test of the game.
Held on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One – the company have confirmed that 9.7 million gamers to part in the test. These players clocked more than 4.9 billion minutes / 81 million hours of playtime among them, across more than 37 million matches.
