The Hunt of Monster Hunter Generations Begins in July

The hunt will begin very soon, with the Capcom-developed Monster Hunter Generations set to prowl gaming stores across Australia and New Zealand starting July 16th 2016. Continuing the Nintendo console exclusivity, Monster Hunter Generations will be available exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS.

Monster Hunter Generations seeks to be the most accessibly entry in the series yet, with hopes of it being an ideal jumping-on point for beginners. This is through the new ‘Prower Game Mode’, where players can directly control one of the game’s Felyne characters, allows newcomers to get straight into the action of hunting and gathering without feeling overwhelmed. Prowlers enjoy simplified mechanics for gathering items and enjoy their own unique attacks and combos, making them a great learning tool for anyone starting out on their Monster Hunter journey. Both single and multiplayer quests can be enjoyed in Prowler Mode, allowing players of all-skill levels (Either Prowler or Hunter) to work together to take down some powerful beasts.

Monster Hunter Generations allows players to take on a sizeable assortment of unique monsters in more than 20 different hunting locations, either solo or with others in local/online multiplayer. By collecting items from their hunts, players can craft more powerful weapons and armour, allowing even more dangerous quests to be taken on.

Nintendo have confirmed plans to offer a demo of this game prior to launch, which will be available sometime in Winter.
