According to a Tweet recently made by Foundary 42’s Customer Support Manager Ray Roocroft (@RayRoocroftCIG), it seems like Star Citizen could be receiving a free flight week starting this Friday (15th April 2016).
Specifics about which ships will be available to all during this period are currently unknown, but the tweet in question does indicate that the MISC Starfarer might be in its line-up. At the very least, some of the more basic ships such as the RSI Aurora and the Consolidated Outland Mustang should be available.
No official announcement about this has been made on the Star Citizen website, but I would expect to hear more about this event on Friday.
