As of last week, Electronic Arts have and EA DICE have been running a closed beta test for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, a successor to their 2008 action-adventure platformer Mirror’s Edge. The game was supposed to go on sale in the closing weeks of May 2016, but the schedule has recently been changed.

It has been confirmed that Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will now be available on store shelves on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC starting June 9th 2016. The reason given for this two week delay is:

We want to make sure we have the opportunity and time to address player feedback from the beta, which is why we’ll give ourselves a bit more time to perfect the game.

and further stating:

We’re confident that these extra two weeks will ensure that the game is as amazing as possible.

While I have not had the time to dive into the closed beta test myself, hope everyone is enjoying their first look at the City of Glass.
