Today has really been about ships for Star Citizen and the team at Cloud Imperium Games. Not only have the company launched concept sales for their latest Vanduul ship (Esperia Vanduul Blade), but have also taken backers on their first extensive tour of the MISC Starfarer which should be arriving in Hangars soon. But what if neither of these ships tickle your fancy and you instead wish to purchasing something else that is rarer and more lucrative?
For this weekend (Until Monday 21 March), CIG are holding a Limited Edition Ships sale, with a select number of flyable albeit limited in availability ships available to pledge towards. These range from the Aurora LX which is a mere $30.00 USD, to the much pricier Aegis Vanguard Warden, which is available for $250.00. One notable inclusion however is the Aegis Retaliator Base which is priced at $150.00. The issue with this is that none of the modules which will make the ship unique are available for sale, meaning you are technically (Although not visibly until modularity kicks in) buying a ship with two missing rooms.
