Continuing their release of the Atelier “Plus” collections on the PlayStation Vita, Koei Tecmo have announced that Atelier Escha & Logy Plus: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky is now available as a digital exclusive release via the PlayStation Store. This edition follows the company’s early-2014 release of the RPG on the PlayStation 3 (Review).

So what makes the “Plus” edition worth picking up compared to its predecessor? Atelier Escha & Logy Plus comes with a variety of new content including a new playable character (Nio Altugle), all DLC from the PS3 release, new scenes which delve deeper into the relationship of Escha and Logy, new missions and more. Of course, at its heart, it is still mostly the same game from several years ago.

Featuring a similar story approach to what was later used in Atelier Shallie, Atelier Escha & Logy has been the first Atelier game to feature a dual-protagonist story structure. This means that players really need to do two runthroughs of the game (One as Escha Malier and one as Logix Ficsario) to be able to see all storyline events.

Those who purchase Atelier Escha & Logy Plus within its first month of sale can download a free bonus content pack consisting of: A Striped Swimsuit costume (for Escha), a Last Resort costume (for Logy), a Wedding costume (for Escha & Logy), and an Administrator costume (for Nio).
