While it will not grant players access to the Alpha 2.0 features that were recently showcased in a trailer for the game, Cloud Imperium Games have announced that all newcomers are invited to take part in a free flight week from now until December 14th 2015.
This will provide access to Version 1.3, which includes the Arena Commander dogfighting module. It will also allow players the chance to try out three ships: the Aurora MR, Mustang Alpha and Gladius. These three are more entry-level ships, but should give you a grasp of what you can expect should you desire to purchase one of the cheaper game packages.
