Ubisoft Confirm PC Beta Test for ‘The Crew: Wild Run’ Later This Month

-

During E3 2015, Ubisoft announced they would be extending the experience provided by their open world racing game ‘The Crew‘ with the release of an expansion pack. This pack is set to be available from November 17 as a digital download, with a bundle containing both the original game and expansion set to land on store shelves a couple of days later on November 19. Prior to launch, Ubisoft are looking at getting PC gamers involved in a beta test, which is set to take place from October 15 at 9pm EDST until October 19 at 9pm EDST.

The closed beta will allow players for the first time to participate in “The Summit”, an unofficial gathering of thousands of drivers and mechanics from around the world, taking place in locations all around the USA. It’s an event where car culture is celebrated across a multi-dimensional competition with the widest variety of vehicles, from heavily tuned cars to agile bikes or more exotic concepts. Ubisoft have described this as “the largest challenge in a driving game to date, where players will showcase their talents across a wide range of skillsets and terrtains”. Time will tell if they manage to accomplish this feat.

Also available in this beta test will be PvE and PvP missions, FreeDrive activities, speed/skill challenges, and stunt competitions with brand new trials created exclusively to fit new vehicles specificities.
