Although Assassin’s Creed video games may take place within a fictitious version of a particular notable era in history, this has not stopped Ubisoft and the development team incorporating a number of historical figures in each title. With Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, which is set to arrive on store shelves next week, there will be no exception.
During their time in 19th Century London through protagonists Jacob and Evie, players will have the opportunity to engage with figures including Alexander Graham Bell, Karl Marx, Charles Darwin, Charles Dickens, Florence Nightingale and Queen Victoria. Time will tell how well the writing team have taken each of these historical figures and incorporated them into the story.
Set for release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is set to arrive on store shelves starting October 23 2015. A PC release is set to closely follow.
