NIS America to Bring The Witch and the Hundred Knight: Revival Edition to PlayStation 4 Internationally

-

Following their release of The Witch and the Hundred Knight on the PlayStation 3 last year, Nippon Ichi Software America have confirmed that they will be bringing its successor – The Witch and the Hundred Knight: Revival Edition – to the PlayStation 4. Following Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance, this will be the second PlayStation 4 title developed by their parent company to see a release in both North America and PAL regions. Expect to see it on store shelves starting March 1st 2016 in North America and March 4th 2016 in PAL regions.

The Witch and the Hundred Knight: Revival Edition will not be a sequel to the original title, but instead will serve as an enhanced port. Expect to find improved visuals (With the swampy lands purportedly enhanced with new textures, lighting and models) and a brand new “The Tower of Illusion” area to explore among other things.

The Witch and the Hundred Knight: Revival Edition – Official Story Synopsis

Fed up with being unable to travel beyond the borders of her swamp, the witch Metallia forges a contract with the legendary Hundred Knight to help her realize her ambition of spreading her swamp throughout all of Medea. As the Hundred Knight, your mission is to do whatever your master, the Swamp Witch, commands. Explore the world, destroy Pillars built to prevent her swamp from spreading, and wreak indiscriminate havoc. However, in the back of your inhuman mind, you begin to wonder… What prevents Metallia from leaving the swamp? Why do the other witches shun her, and how can she survive in a swamp that is notorious for how poisonous its fumes are? Is Metallia really a witch to respect, or is she one to fear?
