Persona 5 Delayed Until 2016, New Four Minute Trailer Released

-

In news that will be disappointing but not all that surprising to some, ATLUS have confirmed that their anticipated release of JRPG Persona 5 has had to be delayed until sometime in “Summer 2016”. This means that we will probably see the game released in June-August 2016, a little less than a year from now.

ATLUS have to some small degree managed to soften the blow by sharing a new four minute trailer for the game, providing arguably our most in-depth look at the game to date. Viewers are treated to several glimpses at the battle/persona systems, cutscenes, locales around town, dungeon navigation and a few other surprises along the way. No confirmation has been made with regards to any additional playable characters, if there will be any besides the four currently announced.

In addition to sharing this video, ATLUS also shared a four minute interview video, which can be found at the bottom of this post.

Developed by ATLUS and their P Studio division, Persona 5 is currently in development for both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 platforms. ATLUS USA have already confirmed plans for a North American release, although it is currently unknown who is handling the title in PAL Regions.
