Although not all times may be convenient for those in a younger demographic who have school or others with early nights ahead of them this coming week, Nintendo have announced that they will be holding daily Splatoon “Testfire” events which are accessible to everyone who own a Wii U console.
By downloading the free demo software which is now available through the Nintendo eShop, players can jump into one-hour Turf War sessions at certain times from August 23rd 2015 until August 29th 2015. Times for these sessions, which are mostly in the early morning with regard to AEST, can be found below:
- Sunday August 23rd: 4AM – 5AM
- Monday August 24th: 4AM – 5AM, 6PM – 7PM
- Tuesday August 25th: 6PM – 7PM
- Friday August 28th: 12AM – 1AM
- Saturday August 29th: 12AM – 1AM
These testfire events follow a recent update to Splatoon which introduced new weapon types, new gear and two new matchmaking modes (Squad Battle and Private Battle).
