Last month, ATLUS USA shared their first character classes trailer for Dungeon Travelers 2: The Royal Library & The Monster Seal, set for release on the PlayStation Vita portable gaming system later this year. This video highlighted the five main classes which each character can start off with: Fighter, Magic User, Scout, Maid and Spieler.
ATLUS have now begun shifting their attention towards the ‘Intermediate Sub-Classes’, with each basic class branching out into either two or three different routes. These include the Paladin and Berserker for Fighters; Sorceress, Enchantress or Priestess for Magic Users; Archer or Assassin for Scouts; Bard or Dancer for Maids and Dollmaster or Trickster for Spielers. Each class route offers either completely distinct playstyle opportunities or enhanced options for similar classes.
Intermediate Classes also have an (almost) penalty-free means to experiment with each option. You will have the option to reset your character’s skill points and redistributing them as you see fit. Characters in this bracket will always reset to Level 15 and therefore does come with a loss of experience, but it is a good alternative if you wish to try something new or completely botches your character’s skill set.
Dungeon Travelers 2: The Royal Library & the Monster Seal is set to be published internationally by ATLUS USA later this year. The RPG will be available on the PlayStation Vita portable gaming system, with support for the PlayStation TV unit as well.
