With many new players set to join the world of Tamriel when The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited launches on consoles starting June 9th, Bethesda Softworks have started a new video series – with new instalments to be periodically released. Titled ‘This is The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited’, these videos seek to offer newcomers some insight into the world that the online game offers players to explore.
The first video is titled ‘Freedom and Choice in Tamriel’, which attempts to highlight the freedom given to players to explore their own path, and the countless choices they’ll face along the way including chacter race/appearance, alliance, class, playstyle and ability specializations.
Following its time as a P2P game which required an initial purchase (Similar to World of Warcraft), The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited has been transformed into a buy-to-play MMORPG. The game will subsequently be supported through an optional ‘ESO Plus’ monthly subscription and an in-game Crown (Cash Shop) Store. Those interested in the PC or Mac version of Tamriel Unlimited will not have to wait until June 9th, with these versions now available for purchase.
