After sharing dedicated videos for all Investigation Team members bar one (Teddie), ATLUS have this evening shared a character trailer focusing on Yu’s young cousin Nanako Dojima. After being a non-playable secondary character in all previous Persona 4 titles, Persona 4: Dancing All Night will be the first and quite possibly only time Nanako will have any form of playable role.
Comparable to the other character-oriented videos, this trailer comes in at approximately a minute and a half in length. The first thirty seconds or so focus on Nanako during the visual novel style storyline segments, interacting with characters including Yu Narukami, her father Ryotaro Dojima and Kanamin.
The latter and larger section of this video shows her dancing to a remixed version of the song most associated with her character – a remixed version of the Junes Theme performed by Hiroko Kurotani. Alongside some adorable footage of her dancing, a number of her alternate costumes are shown including her regular Summer / Winter / Snow attire and her Kanamin costume.
It still remains unknown if Ryotaro Dojima will also receive any form of playable role, or if he will forever remain a storyline-only character.
Exclusive to the PlayStation Vita, Persona 4: Dancing All Night is set for release in Japan on June 25th 2015. An international release is set to follow later on in the year. Additional character trailers can be found by clicking on a character’s name: Yu Narukami, Rise Kujikawa, Kanami Mashita, Yosuke Hanamura, Chie Satonaka, Kanji Tatsumi, Yukiko Amagi, Naoto Shirogane.
