Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains – Release Date/Pricing Confirmed

-

Those looking to dive into the new Attack on Titan video game from ATLUS USA (Publisher) and Spike Chunsoft (Japanese Developer) have less than a fortnight to wait, with them confirming that Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains (Shingeki no Kyojin: Humanity in Chains in Europe) is set to arrive on the Nintendo eShop starting May 12th 2015. This release date is currently only locked in for North America, with a PAL region release not having an exact launch date. ATLUS USA have claimed that they are “shooting for as soon as possible” and ask fans to “stay tuned for more info”.

The North American version is set to be priced at $39.99 via the Nintendo eShop, with no plans for a physical retail release. As a special bonus however, ATLUS USA have confirmed that everyone who purchases the game in North America or Europe will nab themselves a unique Attack on Titan 3DS theme at no additional charge. There does not seem to be any time limit associated with acquiring the theme, but it will not be available for purchase separately.

Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains – Official Blurb

Based on the popular manga and anime series, Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains is a download-only title for the Nintendo 3DS. Take on the role of Eren Jaeger, Mikasa Ackermann and other familiar faces from the Scout Regiment to defend the last remnants of humanity.
