With Dead or Alive 5 Last Round set for a multiplatform release on January 19th 2015, the team at Koei Tecmo Games Europe have shared their brand new launch trailer for the fighting video game. Especially considering the number of DOA5 games have been published by them to date, this is one of their last chances prior to launch to showcase just what changes they have incorporated into DOA5 Last Round.
The launch trailer itself doesn’t waste any of its three and a third minutes, showcasing many of the new and returning characters in addition to delivering this information with a plentiful supply of action from start to finish.
For those wanting to sample some of the content found in DOA5 Last Round before committing to a purchase, the core game content can be found in a reduced features Dead or Alive Last Round: Core Fighters edition. Available at no charge on the PlayStation 4, this will give you access to almost every game mode and four fighters: Ayane, Hayate, Kasumi and Ryu Hayabusa. A trial version of Core Fighters can be downloaded on the Xbox One, which can be expanded through a paid edition which comes with an additional four characters: Hitomi, Tina, Jann Lee and Bass. The PS4 edition and paid Xbox One edition can be expanded through additional content purchases.
Dead or Alive 5 Last Round is set for release on January 19th 2015 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One gaming platforms. A PC edition is also set to be made available via Steam, however has been pushed back until March 30th 2015.
