Everybody gets a space globe!
After giving away Takuetsu Consolidated Outland Mustang and Holiday Wreath hangar decorations last month, the Star Citizen team have kicked off 2015 by giving all current backers one of three animated space globes.
What is a Space Globe?
Space globes are a long-lived, centennial human new year’s tradition. Each year, Rosemont Imports creates a limited edition collection of Premium Space Globes ornaments to collect. Health, prosperity and plentiful bounty hunting; space globes are supposed to bring good luck in the new year!
Each of these three snowglobes display one of the more recent additions to the Star Citizen fleet, and have been themed after three futuristic New Year’s messages of good will: “To Plentiful Salvage”, “Wishing you Glorious Moments” and “To Good Health & Evading Skills”.
Additional space globes have been given to members of Star Citizen’s monthly ‘development subscribers’ program, who pledge additional monthly funds to help support the activities that take place on the official Star Citizen website. Members of the Centurion program ($10pm) receive an additional space globe while Imperator ($20pm) members receive all three designs to complete the set.
