North American anime publisher Sentai Filmworks have announced that they have recruited cosplayer Jessica Nigiri to voice the lead character, Sonico, in their upcoming DVD and Blu-ray release of SoniAni: Super Sonico the Animation. Production is wrapping up on the anime, and will be released as part of their May 2015 anime release slate (More information on that in a coming post).

In news that will likely appeal to anime fans who love the extra on-disc extras that quite a few Sentai Filmworks anime releases tend to not include, the publisher has confirmed that their release will feature unspecified extras and bonus material.
