After it was first released on the PlayStation 3 back in 2009, Fat Princess received a strong reception from the gaming media overall. However aside from a PlayStation Portable port and a guest appearance in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royal, the series has remained stagnant this past decade.
However the team at Fun Bits Interactive have finally resurrected the franchise, with Chris Miller and John Mundy confirming through the official PlayStation Blog that they are working on Fat Princess Adventures for the PlayStation 4. This sequel has been described as being “bigger and badder than ever, with tones of fast-paced hack ‘n’ slash action“. For more information, check out the blog post linked above.
At this point in time, no launch window for Fat Princess Adventures has been confirmed.
