A few months ago Ubisoft launched a promotional website for Assassin’s Creed Unity which allowed fans to create their own customized Assassin’s. These creations were then put to a community vote, with the winners to star in an upcoming CGI trailer for the game. Out of over 200,000 Assassin’s designed by the community, that number was whittled down to 1,400 and all placed in the 1¼minute trailer you see above.
To get the full experience however, you will need to check out the Assassin’s Creed Unity Unite website. This will allow you to not only check to see if your Assassin made it into the video and where, but also search for 15 secrets that provide exclusive footage and content upon discovery.

The Assassin’s Creed universe lives through its fans’, and this trailer is an amazing opportunity for them to be part of the campaign. They can see their own Assassin running through the streets, breaking into buildings and parkouring on Paris’ rooftops. We wanted to take the interactive and, social aspect of gaming to a next level.
Now excuse me while I pout because my Assassin didn’t make the cut.
