Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts have confirmed that the latest DLC pack for Titanfall, Titanfall: IMC Rising, is now available for purchase on the Xbox One and PC platforms. Priced at $13.45 AUD or supported by the Season Pass ($33.45 AUD), this third DLC pack for the online first-person shooter provides three new maps including the hidden colony of Backwater, a covert robotics facility in “Zone 18” and the secret fuel extraction site of Sandtrap.
Set in the near future on a distant frontier torn apart by war, Titanfall drops players in the middle of a conflict between the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation (IMC) and the Militia. The action is rapid and varied – featuring parkour-style wall running, massive double jumps and the ability to hijack titans. The freedom to shift back and forth between pilot and titan allows players to change tactics on the fly, attacking or escaping depending on the situation and extending the action vertically to new heights.
With all three major DLC packs currently released, it is unclear if Respawn Entertainment will justify further paid content releases.
