While short and at times very frustrating giving the complexities of moving around when you are an octopus pretending to be a human, Octodad: Dadliest Catch has stood out to be one of the more interesting and clever indie games I have played this year so far, walking away with a comfortable B grade on this site and continuing to be supported by the modding community.
Those looking to check it out but haven’t yet made the purchase might be interested to know that Octodad: Dadliest Catch is currently available at 66% off via Steam’s mid-week sale. The price of the game has been marked down to just $5.09 USD from an original price of $14.99 USD. The game features gamepad support, and those looking for an easier time may want to hook up their Dualshock or other controller to the PC before playing.
