Tecmo Koei and their Omega Force studio have produced a number of titles under the Warriors franchise header – most notably being Dynasty Warriors which is based on the Three Kingdoms period of China and Samurai Warriors which is based on the Sengoku era of Japan. Despite being a work of fiction, it seems like Tecmo Koei is teaming up with Nintendo to product a title tentatively named Hyrule Warriors.
While it is inevitably not going to be the next major Zelda title that I am sure many would be hoping for to help salvage the Wii U over the next year with both the Playstation 4 and Xbox One now on market… I look forward to seeing if this ends up being a unique title or at the very least matches the button-masher standards set by the other Warriors games.
