Tecmo Koei Europe have this evening announced that Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is no longer headed to just the Playstation 3 / Xbox360 video game consoles in Early 2014 but will also be receiving a simultaneous PC release via the Steam service. They hope that by expanding this games reach to the PC platform, it will allow their action-packed creation to reach even more gamers.
The game, which is led by Team Ninja’s Yosuke Hayashi and Comcept’s Keiji Inafune brings the goal of creating a thrilling new experience for fans for a topic that may not be all that fresh in the industry. The game is set in the world of the ninja meets undead warriors and cybernetic warriors – and they claim draws from the Ninja Gaiden franchise while enhancing it with a number of new features / gameplay style in addition to an original storyline.
Players all called to battle fierce zombies as YAIBA, a cyborg ninja who will do anything to get revenge and stay alive. Cleaved in two, he is brought back to life with cyber-technology. Brandishing his ninja sword and the mecha weapons in his cyborg arm, he slaughters zombies with brutal, over-the-top abandon. Step inside a stylised, living comic book where stunning graphics depict a world gone mad. Hordes of undead can only be stopped by YAIBA’s willingness to use any means necessary to get the job done.
