As with quite a number of online games nowadays, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has just had a new smartphone / tablet app released for it. Now available for download on the iOS and soon to be available on the Android platform, Final Fantasy XIV: Libra Eorzea offers the opportunity to have access to a comprehensive compendium of knowledge that can be accessed at your finger tips and offline to boot.
In addition, players with an active account can log in with their Square Enix account credentials to review their character information such as attributes and gear. They can also browse the profiles of other characters in their Free Company, Linkshell, or use the search function to view details on other players and Free Companies. Moreover, players can even learn where fellow adventurers acquired their gear.
Square Enix plans to offer additional features in the future, although at the moment have not offered much detail into what these extras will be.
