Ubisoft Digitally Unbox the Buccaneer Edition of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag

-

While it doesn’t seem like Ubisoft have uncovered the simple pleasures of watching a real pair of hands unbox a special edition or even a standard edition of an upcoming release (Something that I recall former PR manager of ATLUS USA Aram Jabbari doing quite well), the company have earlier today released a digital unboxing video for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.

This time around the edition on display is the Buccaneer Edition that comes with a Captain Kenway figure, exclusive artbook, soundtrack, in-game content and a few other goodies. As you can also see from the video they are really trying to bring across the pirate theme of the game by housing all the contents in a treasure chest themed box. Let’s hope the box isn’t tacky as it would look quite nice sitting on a shelf of gaming collectibles as is.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is the fourth numbered and sixth major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series for home video game consoles. Developed by Ubisoft’s Montreal studio, it is set to be available on a number of consoles including current and next generation platforms from late-October 2013.
