Nyu-Media have today sent out a reminder that their Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign for Yatagarasu Attack of Cataclysm is in its final days – with around six days remaining. As of this post the company have raised $57,696 which is still a little more than $10,000 shy of their $68,000 goal. However unlike Kickstarter campaigns even if they do not successfully achieve this goal they will still receive any money raised – meaning Perk Contribution bonuses and the game will go ahead.
Yatagarasu is an original 2D fighting game for Windows PC that takes inspiration from Street Fighter III: Third Strike, but incorporates play elements similar to BlazBlue. The game features eight playable characters, high quality old school graphics, and gameplay that genuinely is easily accessible to anyone, but offers depth to veteran fighting game players. It also features a dynamic commentary system: voiceover by celebrity fighting game commentators will cheer you on or put you down based on your play and what’s happening in the game!
– Official Description
Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like the campaign will reach the higher tier stretch goals such as GGPO Netcode, vocal songs or this third or fourth new characters, however at the very least the 1,591 people who have currently contributed will still be able to get their hands on the game irrespective.
