Ever since the Nintendo 64 era of home video game consoles there have been tie-in games to the popular Gameboy / DS Pokémon franchise from Game Freak. At the end of a video showcased at this weekends Pokémon Game Show in Tokyo, Nintendo teased what may very well be a Pokémon game for the Wii U. This short snippet showcased a battle between Blaziken and Lucario on a more modern-day city street with a Pokémon center in the background.
If this actually amounts to something, it seems to be less of a “Pokémon Stadium” style game and more like Pokémon Colosseum on the Gamecube where you get to battle outside of the standard stadium arenas.
Nintendo have not confirmed anything about this potential title.
