Disney Infinity Breaks Street Release Date in Australia

Infinity

While originally set for release in Australia this Thursday, EB Games Australia have sent around a notification that Disney Infinity has broken street date and now available for purchase in their stores across the region.

While prices will vary between retailers (EB Games Australia for example have it going for $88.00 AUD), the game will be available as a “Starter Pack” which comes with the game, an “Infinity Base”, 3x Infinity Figures, 3x Infinity Play Sets, a Power Disc and a web code to unlock content online.

Disney Infinity, is what you would expect if LittleBigPlanet and Skylanders had a child while residing in the world of Disney. The game uses physical toys to unlock content and you can then enjoy the “Play Set Mode” with a number of activities around each of the series and “Toy Box Mode” which gives the player creative control over an open-world environment.

Physical toy play sets include the ones for Monsters University, Pirates of the Carribbean and The Incredibles which are included with every copy of the game, as well as additional paid ones such as Cars, The Nightmare Before Christmas and more which are to be available at retail stores.
