Remember Capcom Announce Remember Me Music Remix Competition

Back in early-July 2013, Capcom launched a Music Remix Competition to complement their recent release of Remember me – for which one of the games best aspects was the music. This contest was a search for the best remixes of Olivier Deriviere’s “Fragments” from the games official soundtrack. More than a month has passed since then and after more than a hundred entries (All of which can be listened to and judged on Soundcloud) the winners have been confirmed.

The winners were the relaxing electro remix by Connor Mills from Ireland (going by the pseudonym “Alaskan”) that won the admiration from the Soundcloud community, and the rock mix by Nick “Atpunk” Gonzalez from the USA that came out with the top score from the Capcom jury. More information on what these two master remixers have won can be found in my earlier article.

If you don’t want to trudge through every entry on Soundcloud, Capcom have compiled a free “best-of” remix download album. This can be downloaded via the events official website.

Olivier Deriviere | Composer for Remember Me

I am truly amazed by the creativity of our contestants. Their remixes introduced so many different feelings and ideas that I actually discovered new things about my own music. Thank you all for the great new memories we can all now share together!

You can find my review for Remember Me HERE.
