There were many different community events held during last weekends inaugural PAX Australia event in Melbourne, Victoria. One of these was the Australian leg for the Might & Magic Duel of Champions “Road to Paris” tournament which would see the victor travel to Paris Games Week to compete for the title of Grand Champion of Might & Magic Duel of Champions.
After triumphing over 32 other competitiors, Jesse “Jezza” Coad emerged victorious after an intense two days of qualifiers and finals. His final match against Damien Brags was down to the wire and he won the best of five match 3-2. He will be facing seven other contestants from around the world who will be securing their spot through the remaining qualifying rounds. For his effort to reach the final, runner up, Mr Brags has been invited to an online “last chance” elite wildcard swiss tournament for a second chance to reach the final stage.
